R\u00e9alisatrice : Eva Vitija | 83&prime; | 2022 | Suisse, Allemagne<\/p>\n<p>Bas\u00e9 sur les journaux intimes et les carnets de Patricia Highsmith, mais aussi sur ses r\u00e9flexions sur les amants, les amis et la famille. En se concentrant sur la qu\u00eate d&rsquo;amour de l&rsquo;auteur et sur sa fa\u00e7on de penser, le film jette un nouvel regard sur sa vie et ses \u00e9crits.<\/p>\n<p>La plupart des romans de Highsmith, essentiellement des thrillers psychologiques, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 adapt\u00e9s sur grand \u00e9cran, notamment \u00ab L\u2019inconnu du Nord Express \u00bb et \u00ab Le talentueux Mr. Ripley \u00bb. \u00ab Carol \u00bb, un roman partiellement autobiographique, a \u00e9t\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re histoire lesbienne avec une fin heureuse dans l&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique des ann\u00e9es 1950. Cependant, Highsmith elle-m\u00eame a \u00e9t\u00e9 contrainte de mener une double vie et a d\u00fb cacher sa vie amoureuse \u00e0 sa famille et ainsi qu\u2019au public. Ce n&rsquo;est que dans ses \u00e9crits in\u00e9dits qu&rsquo;elle traite ce th\u00e8me toujours omnipr\u00e9sent en elle.<\/p>\n<p>Des extraits de ces notes, enrichis d&rsquo;images d&rsquo;archives d&rsquo;elle-m\u00eame et de ses romans, cr\u00e9ent un portrait vivant et \u00e9mouvant de l&rsquo;une femme la plus fascinante des \u00e9crivaines du XXe si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n<p>Projection
