Son don pour les \u00e9tudes le fait int\u00e9grer le Prytan\u00e9e militaire de Saint-Louis, fili\u00e8re extr\u00eamement s\u00e9lective, puis une classe pr\u00e9paratoire en France, \u00e0 Compi\u00e8gne et l&rsquo;Ecole des hautes \u00e9tudes en sciences sociales \u00e0 Paris, o\u00f9 il commence un doctorat de lettres.<\/p>\n<p>En 2021, il remporte le prestigieux <strong>prix litt\u00e9raire fran\u00e7ais Choix Goncourt<\/strong> avec son quatri\u00e8me roman <em>La plus secr\u00e8te m\u00e9moire des hommes<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R\u00c9SUM\u00c9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>La plus secr\u00e8te m\u00e9moire des hommes<\/em> raconte l&rsquo;histoire de deux \u00e9crivains s\u00e9n\u00e9galais, l&rsquo;un contemporain, \u00e0 la recherche de lui-m\u00eame, qui ressemble \u00e0 l&rsquo;auteur, l&rsquo;autre qui a eu son heure de gloire en 1938, avant une d\u00e9ch\u00e9ance rapide, le myst\u00e9rieux T.C. Elimane, inspir\u00e9 du Malien Yambo Ouologuem, prix Renaudot en 1968.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi dans le roman, en 2018, Di\u00e9gane Latyr Faye, jeune \u00e9crivain s\u00e9n\u00e9galais vivant \u00e0 Paris est boulevers\u00e9 par la d\u00e9couverte d&rsquo;un ouvrage, Le labyrinthe de l\u2019inhumain, paru en 1938. L&rsquo;histoire de ce livre myst\u00e9rieux l&rsquo;intrigue.
